Cucumber Chutney Sandwich (Chutney Sandwich)

These Tea Time Indian Cucumber Chutney Sandwich recipe is super easy and yummy made with freshly buttered bread slices, green coriander mint chutney, cucumber slices and few spices can be made in less than 10 minutes.

Instructions

  • Take bread slices and cut the brown sides of the bread.
  • Apply butter to both slices of bread.
  • Then spread green chutney on both slices of bread.
  • Layer cucumber slices on the bread. sprinkle chat masala powder and cumin powder.
  • Place the other slice of the bread on top. Cut into squares or triangles.
  • Cucumber Chutney Sandwiches are ready.

Notes

Tips & Variations:

  1. If the cucumbers are very watery then place them on tissue paper/paper towel for some time else sandwiches become soggy very soon.
  2. Also, if you are packing sandwiches for lunch box, apply more butter, preventing sandwiches from becoming soggy.
  3. If you don't have time to make green chutney, just replace it with cream cheese or mayonnaise.
  4. Use brown or multigrain bread for healthier choices.
