Fruit Sandwich Recipe

This fruit sandwich is super easy and delicious made with bread, fresh seasonal fruits and fruit jam and can be made in less than 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 bread slices
  • 2 tablespoon fruit jam
  • ½ banana peeled and sliced
  • 2 strawberries sliced
  • apple sliced as needed

Instructions

  • Cut the seasonal fruit in to thin slices and keep aside.
  • Take 2 bread slices and apply fruit jam on breads.
  • Firstly place the banana slices in a single layer followed by strawberries and apple

  • Top it with other bread slice, cut into 2 pieces and serve immediately.

Notes

Tips & Variations:

  1. Use brown or multigrain bread for healthier choices.
  2. You can replace fruit jam with cream cheese or mayonnaise.
  3. You can also grill or toast sandwiches. I love even the grilled version.
  4. You can use any seasonal fruits like mango, papaya, kiwi, chickoo for this recipe. Try to avoid watery fruits like watermelon, oranges which can make the bread soggy.
