Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and diced
  • ½ small red onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon jalapeno minced
  • ¼ cup cilantro finely chopped
  • 1 lime juiced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized bowl combine the diced strawberries, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper to taste.
  • Serve with tortilla chips or salads. For best flavor, let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Variations & Tips

  • You can also add ½ cup of red bell pepper and tomato to this salsa.
  • Strawberry salsa can be made ahead overnight or served right away.
