This Strawberry Salsa recipe is full of fresh flavor and a perfect appetizer or side made with fresh diced strawberries, red onion, jalapeno, cilantro, and lime juice. Enjoy with tortilla chips or on top of nachos.

Ingredients
- Fresh Strawberries: Freshly ripened strawberries works best for the salsa recipe. I would not recommend using frozen as they turn watery once thawed.
- Red onion: these are perfect for salsa. You can substitute it with yellow or white onion if needed.
- Fresh Cilantro: Finely chopped.
- Jalapeño: Finely chopped with seeds and membrane. Use as per your spice level.
- Lime Juice: Freshly squeezed lime juice is always better than bottled for the best flavor
- Salt & Pepper: for seasoning

In a medium-sized bowl combine the diced strawberries, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper to taste.
