Fruit Sandwich Recipe

This fruit sandwich is super easy and delicious made with bread, fresh seasonal fruits and fruit jam and can be made in less than 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2 bread slices
  • 2 tablespoon fruit jam
  • ½ banana peeled and sliced
  • 2 strawberries sliced
  • apple sliced as needed

Instructions

  • Cut the seasonal fruit in to thin slices and keep aside.
  • Take two bread slices and apply fruit jam to both bread slices.
  • First, arrange the banana slices in a single layer on one slice of bread, then add the strawberries and apples on top.

  • Top with another slice of bread, cut the sandwich into two pieces, and serve immediately.

Notes

Tips & Variations:

    • Use brown, multigrain bread for healthier choices.
    • You can also grill or toast the sandwiches. I personally love the grilled version for its extra crunch and enhanced flavor.
    • You can use any seasonal fruits like mango, papaya, kiwi, or chickoo for this recipe. Just avoid watery fruits like watermelon and oranges, as they can make the bread soggy.
    • Tropical Fruit Sandwich: Slice the fruits and add them to the sandwich along with a layer of coconut yogurt or cream cheese. You can also sprinkle some toasted coconut flakes for extra flavor.
    • You can replace fruit jam with cream cheese or mayonnaise.
