Ingredients

  • 4 medium roma tomato deseeded, diced (about 2 cups)
  • ½-3/4 cup red onion finely chopped
  • ¼ cup cilantro  finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno deseeded and finely minced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Chop all the ingredients. In a bowl add diced tomatoes, onions, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, salt and pepper.

  • Stir everything together. You can wait for 10-15 minutes for all the flavors to blend. For more intense flavor, chill for up to 1-2 hours before serving. Serve it with tortilla chips.
