Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk chilled
  • 4 tablespoons rooh afza
  • 1 cup watermelon cut into small bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon sugar optional
  • few ice cubes

Instructions

  • Chop the watermelon into small, bite-sized cubes to yield approximately 1 cup of diced watermelon.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add chilled milk, rooh afza syrup, and sugar (optional). Mix thoroughly using a spoon or whisker until well combined.

  • Pour the sharbat into servings glasses. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Vegan: Substitute whole milk with plant-based milk like almond, cashew, or soy milk.
  • Add Watermelon juice: You can also add 1 cup of watermelon juice (simply blend fresh watermelon chunks in a blender) along with chopped watermelon pieces to this drink.
  • Rose petals: You can add fresh, edible rose petals to this sharbat.
  • Sabja seeds: You can also add soaked sabja seeds to this drink for the added texture and their cooling properties.
