Creamy and healthy Avocado dressing recipe with Cilantro and Lime. Vegan, Keto/Low Carb, and perfect for salads, tacos, burritos, wraps, and rice bowls.
Avocados are loaded with mono-saturated fatty acids, which are good for a healthy heart. Besides, avocados are rich in potassium, fiber, antioxidants, and many vitamins like B, K, C, and E.
We love avocados at home, and our favorite dish with it has always been Guacamole.
But this homemade creamy avocado salad dressing is a game-changer. I have been obsessed with it lately and use it in everything like salads, wraps, sandwiches, zoodles, etc.
You can also make another variation, i.e., creamy avocado dip with greek yogurt or sour cream, and serve it with veggies such as cucumber, celery, bell pepper, or chips. It is made of ripe avocado, cilantro leaves (or other herbs), lime juice, garlic, olive oil, and seasonings. It can be made ahead and refrigerated until ready to use.
Other Mexican Dishes from my blog are Mexican Black beans, Mexican Rice (spanish rice), Taco soup, Three bean Chili, Chipotle Cilantro Lime Rice.

Avocado Cilantro Lime Dressing Ingredients
- Avocado: Use good quality ripened avocado to make this sauce.
- Cilantro: I have used fresh-cut cilantro for herbs, you can also replace it with basil, parsley, or spinach.
- Garlic: Garlic adds a great flavor to the dish, so don't skip it.
- Lime juice: Lime juice is added for tanginess and to avoid the browning of avocado sauce, so don't miss it.
- Olive oil: Use extra virgin oil for the best flavor. You can also skip it if you want to make it oil-free.
- Jalapeno: add if you prefer extra spice. Otherwise, you can skip it.
- Salt and black pepper: for seasoning.
