Avocado Cilantro Dip Ingredients
- Avocado: Use good quality ripened avocado to make this sauce.
- Cilantro: I have used fresh-cut cilantro for herbs, you can also replace it with basil, parsley, or spinach.
- Greek Yogurt: Adding Greek yogurt to the dip makes it more rich and creamy. You can also replace it with sour cream to make Avocado Sour Cream Dip. Here is a detailed recipe for How to make Greek Yogurt at home.
- Garlic: Garlic adds a great flavor to the dish, so don't skip it.
- Lemon juice: Lemon juice is added for tanginess and to avoid the browning of avocado sauce, so don't miss it.
- Olive oil: Use extra virgin oil for the best flavor. You can also skip it if you want to make it oil-free.
- Jalapeno: add if you prefer extra spice. Otherwise, you can skip it.
- Salt and black pepper: for seasoning.
