- Sweetener: It is optional. I used sugar in this recipe. You may also use honey, maple syrup, agave syrup, or coconut sugar. Increase or decrease the quantity based on the sweetness of the pineapple.
- Ginger: Adding ginger is optional. Due to its flavor and health benefits, I like to add ginger to pineapple juice.
- Water: You will need some chilled water to get the juice consistency. You may also substitute water with coconut water.
How To Make Pineapple Juice
Remove the peel and eye of the pineapple, and cut it into cubes.
Add the pineapple chunks into a blender jar, along with water, sugar, and ginger. You can also use coconut water for additional nutrition and taste.
Blend the juice until you get a smooth consistency.
Now, take a large bowl and strain the juice inside the bowl.
Keep stirring the juice in the strainer so that all the juice comes out easily. Press the pulp with a spoon to extract the juice completely.
