We present to you a khakra chaat recipe that will entice your taste buds by adding a zesty twist to the traditional khakra dish. This classic treat is easy to prepare at home and is a great snack for evening tea. Khakra is topped with mint chutney, tamarind chutney, veggies, and a few Indian seasonings.
I used store-bought Plain Khakra to make this recipe. There are many varieties of Khakra available in the market. You can use any variety to prepare this recipe.
How to Make Khakra Chaat recipe
Place the khakra on a serving plate.
Take green chutney and tamarind chutney and spread evenly on the khakra.
Sprinkle some chopped onion, tomatoes, boiled potato, coriander leaves evenly one by one.
Sprinkle some chaat masala, red chili powder, jeera powder, and salt on top, and finally sprinkle sev.
Serve Khakhra chaat immediately with a hot cup of masala chai.

- You can add other vegetables like shredded carrot, cucumber, bell pepper, and corn to make this khakra snack recipe healthier.
- Serve this healthy khakra chaat immediately, or else it will turn soggy.
- If you dont have tamarind chutney, you can try adding tomato ketchup instead.
- You can also add masala peanuts to it to make it crunchy.
- You can also cut khakra into small pieces and make the chaat.
