Ingredients
  1. measuring cup used ,1 cup = 250ml
  2. 10-12 papdis
  3. 1 sweet potato, boiled,cubed
  4. 1 cup curd/yogurt
  5. 5 teaspoon green chutney
  6. 5 teaspoon tamarind chutney
  7. 3 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
  8. 3 tablespoon tomato, finely chopped
  9. ¼ teaspoon chilli powder
  10. ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  11. 1 tablespoon sugar
  12. pinch of chaat masala
  13. pinch of black salt / salt
  14. ¼ cup sev
  15. 2 teaspoon coriander leaves, finely chopped
Tamarind Chutney Recipe
  1. Ingredients
  2. ½ cup seedless tamarind / imli
  3. 2 cups water
  4. ½ cup jaggery /gud
  5. ½ tsp fennel powder / saunf powder
  6. ½ tsp cumin powder / jeera powder
  7. 1 tsp red chili powder / lal mirch powder
  8. ½ tsp dry ginger powder
  9. salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Arrange papdis on a serving plate.
  2. Then, place a teaspoon of boiled,cubed sweet potato on each papdis
  3. Top up with some finely chopped onions and tomatoes over it.
  4. Also, add a tsp of green chutney into each papdis.
  5. Further, add a tsp more tamarind chutney.
  6. Mix sugar with curd/yogurt and add sweetened curd over each papdi.
  7. Then sprinkle and spread handful of thin sev.
  8. Then sprinkle chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala.
  9. Furthermore, sprinkle black salt or salt to taste.
  10. Finally, top up with finely chopped coriander leaves and serve immediately.
Instructions for Tamarind Chutney
  1. In a large kadai take equal proportion of tamarind and jaggery
  2. Further pour 2 cups of water.
  3. Mix and boil the mixture for atleast 10 minutes.
  4. Also add fennel powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, dry ginger powder and salt to taste.
  5. Mix and mash tamarind
  6. Furthermore, simmer the mixture for 2 minutes.
  7. Later allow the mixture to cool completly.
  8. Now transfer the tamarind mixture to the mixer and blend smooth puree.
  9. Further strain the puree.
  10. transfer the prepared tamarind chutney into airtight jar and store it in the refrigerator..
Notes
  1. 1.There are no exact measurements for this recipe. The toppings can be increased or decreased as per individual taste and preferences.
  2. 2.To make it more healthy, you can add boiled or steamed sprouted green gram.
