Moringa Leaves or drumstick leaves pulao recipe is an Indian-style rice dish that is a quick, healthy, and tasty lunch and kids lunchbox recipe. This is a great way of including superfood moringa leaves into kids diet.

Drumstick leaves or moringa greens (‘Nugeekayi soppu’ in Kannada) are a significant source of beta-carotene, Vitamin C, protein, iron, and Potassium. It’s widely used in the dal and curries.
Other drumstick/moringa leaves recipes I make are drumstick leaves paratha, panniyaram (paddu), uttapams, akki rotti (thalipet), moringa raita, and off-course moringa dal.
I usually prepare this rice with basmati rice but any variety of rice can be used. You can also add roasted cashews or peanuts for the crunch.
