Moringa/Drumstick Leaves Pulao is a quick, healthy, and flavorful Indian-style rice recipe perfect for lunch or packing in kids' lunchboxes. This is a great way of including superfood moringa leaves into kids diet.
Drumstick leaves, also known as moringa greens (‘Nugeekayi soppu’ in Kannada), are rich in beta-carotene, Vitamin C, protein, iron, and potassium. They are widely used in dals and curries for their nutritional benefits.
Other moringa leaves recipes you might like are drumstick leaves paratha, aloo moringa, moringa makhana, moringa chutney, moringa raita, and off-course moringa dal.
I usually prepare this rice with basmati rice but any variety of rice can be used. You can also add roasted cashews or peanuts for the crunch.
