Curd Sandwich or Yogurt Sandwich or Dahi Sandwich recipe is a healthy, creamy, and wholesome sandwich loaded with fresh vegetables. Cheese Curd sandwich is an easy breakfast or snack recipe and a great tiffin box recipe for both kids and adults. Eat them toasted or as it is, either way, the curd sandwich tastes great!

Yogurt is well known for its cooling properties and health benefits. The curd (yogurt) is also rich in probiotics that help to keep the intestines healthy.
This cheese curd sandwich recipe can be prepared with any bread. I have used white sandwich bread. I have used whatever vegetables I had in my fridge. You may use vegetables of your choice. If you are making for kids, check on the spice level.
The important ingredient in this sandwich is curd. This curd/dahi sandwich recipe can turn soggy if you keep it for a long time. However, if you use hung curd/ thick curd, then it stays crisp.

How to Make Hung Curd?
Hung curd is nothing but yogurt drained of all its water. It can be made very easily at home.
Hung the curd/yogurt in the muslin or cheesecloth for 5 to 6 hrs or till all the water drains out. After this time period, pressure is applied to the bundle to squeeze out all the water, and the hung curd is ready.

Curd Sandwich Recipe Ingredients
- Bread slices: Use brown or multigrain bread for a healthier choice.
- Yogurt (Curd): use hung curd or Greek yogurt for this recipe. Here is the detailed recipe for How to make Hung Curd at home.
- Vegetables: cabbage, carrots, sweet corn, and capsicum have been used. You can also add other veggies like lettuce and cucumber.
- Seasonings: Italian seasoning, red chili flakes, black pepper powder, and salt.
- Butter: is used for toasting the bread. If you are vegan, replace it with oil or vegan butter.
How to Make Curd Sandwich
In a large mixing bowl, take thick curd. Best if you use hung curd.

Add a few finely chopped vegetables like carrot, cabbage, capsicum, and sweet corn.

Next, add Italian seasoning, chili flakes, salt, and pepper powder, and adjust the spices accordingly.

Mix well and keep aside. Take bread slices and spread the curd mixture generously on one slice of the bread. Cover and press with another bread slice over it.

Heat Tawa or sandwich maker, and add butter. Now place the prepared sandwich and spread butter on top.
Grill or toast bread on both sides till golden brown and crisp. Cut the sandwiches into triangles.

- Toast the bread on tawa or use a sandwich maker or grill to roast it golden and crisp.
- You can also add some cheese to make it more rich and cheesy.
