Avocado Cucumber Chutney Sandwich is an easy, healthy, and delicious Indian-style sandwich recipe prepared with bread, avocados, cucumbers, and green mint coriander chutney. Eat them grilled or as a cold sandwich. People of all age groups relish this lip-smacking breakfast or snack recipe.

I love avocados and am always looking for new ideas to use them everyday. So today, I am sharing a healthy Avocado Chutney Sandwich, inspired by my tea-time Indian cucumber chutney sandwich recipe.
You will need coriander mint chutney (also known as Indian green chutney), which you can easily prepare at home one day prior, refrigerate, and use the next day to make this sandwich. Both kids and adults will love this sandwich because it is not spicy, making it a perfect breakfast or evening snack recipe. You can also serve them for parties or summer potlucks.

Avocado Chutney Sandwich Recipe Ingredients
- Brown or White Bread Slices: I prefer whole wheat or multigrain bread for a healthier option.
- Coriander Mint Chutney: Store-bought or homemade green chutney.
- Avocado: I used ripened Hass Avocado.
- Cucumber: I have used Persian cucumbers. You may use variety.
- Cream Cheese: skip if vegan. You may also use mayonnaise or hung yogurt for the spread.
- Seasoning: chat masala, salt, black pepper.
How to Make Avocado Green Chutney Sandwich
Take a sandwich bread and apply coriander mint chutney (green chutney) generously on one slice of the bread and cream cheese on the other slice.
Place the cucumber slices in a single layer, followed by avocado slices.
Cover and press with another bread slice over it. Cut them in half and enjoy them immediately.
Grilled Avocado Chutney Sandwich
Heat tawa or sandwich maker and spread some butter. Now place the prepared sandwich and spread butter on top.
Grill or toast bread on both sides till golden brown and crisp. The grilled Avocado Sandwich recipe is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions
- Serve with masala french fries or a chickpea salad and soup for a filling meal.
- You can serve an avocado chutney sandwich with a blueberry avocado milkshake for toddlers and kids and coffee or masala tea for adults as a breakfast or evening snack.

- Use brown or multigrain bread for a healthier choice.
- If the cucumbers are very watery, then place them on tissue paper/paper towel for some time else, sandwiches become soggy very soon.

- You can replace cream cheese with mayonnaise or hung curd.
- You can also use pesto sauce instead of green mint chutney.
- Toast or grill the sandwich if you like.
- You may also add a cheese slice while grilling the sandwich.
