Cucumber chutney sandwich cut into squares and served with green chutney

You can make these tea-time cucumber sandwiches with any bread. I have used white sandwich bread. Sourdough bread works best for packing kids lunch boxes.

This healthy green chutney cucumber sandwich is mostly served with tea and is well known as an Indian tea sandwich.

Green coriander chutney is a popular condiment in most Indian homes, It is usually served as a dip, spread, or spicy accompaniment for chaats like Bhel Puri Chat, Dahi Papdi Chaat, Khakra Chaat.

You can also see a detailed recipe for Green Chutney here.

Note: You can store Green chutney in an airtight container for up to a week in the refrigerator.
