Today I have steamed the cauliflower in my electric pressure cooker, Instant Pot DUO60 6 QT. You can use any equivalent electric pressure cooker like Mealthy Multipot.

Steaming vegetables in an instant pot help to retain certain vitamins and minerals. and less monitoring if you know the exact cooking time for the vegetable.

Why steam Cauliflower in an Instant pot?

  • Cooks under 5 minutes
  • It's hands-off and very fast
  • It preserves both nutrients and flavor
  • You can cook them fresh or frozen.
  • Great for Make ahead & meal planning
  • Vegan, Keto, Paleo, Low-carb, Gluten-free.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower: You need a head of cauliflower (medium-sized) in this recipe. You can also use store-bought pre-cut cauliflower florets or frozen ones.
  • Water: It is necessary to bring the cooker to pressure for cooking the cauliflower florets.
  • Seasoning: I prefer to season with salt and black pepper. You can serve it with any seasonings of your choice.

How to perfectly steam Cauliflower in Instant Pot

Using a sharp knife, cut the cauliflower into medium-sized florets.

Then using a colander, rinse them under running water to remove dirt or any little hidden bugs.
