Must-Have Instant Pot/Pressure Cooker Accessories
- Tall Trivet: To cook multiple dishes at once using the pot-in-pot method, I highly recommend using a tall trivet. You can cook curries/rice at the same time.
- Stackable Containers: To cook the pot-in-pot method (cooking multiple items at once), these containers are very useful. I generally use stainless steel or pyrex glass containers for cooking rice, lentils, or veggies.
- Steamer basket: It prevents the veggies from soaking up too much of the water in the bottom of the pot, preventing overcooked, mushy vegetables.
- Immersion Blender: The immersion blender is very useful while making purees or soups in the Instant pot. It helps you to blend food in the same pot.
- Oven Mitts: it's useful to handle hot steaming food.
